Greetings once again from South Dakota – the home of TrailManor™!
Here at the Colony, our farm crops look good in spite of the dry weather conditions and now, finally, after a long, dry growing season and a very hot Independence Day we are enjoying cooler and some very welcomed rainy days.
We had reason to celebrate a wedding here at the colony. Bruce Wurtz (our electrical systems manager) and Rhoda Wipf were married on June 27th. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.
Here at the factory, just as is the rest of the RV industry, we are experiencing enormous increases in costs of material and exorbitant freight expense to get it here. It is rather alarming to see the price increases mounting upward so fast. Also, we thought the challenge of acquiring materials for building our travel trailers was over; however, it continues. Never a dull day around here!
We’ve written about the importance of checking tires in our previous newsletters. We read an interesting article that could help you do just that without going out and kicking your tires! The article is in the May 2021 edition of the RV PRO magazine (page 48 -53). It tells the story of the company, Advantage Pressure Pro, that manufactures an innovative product. It offers real time monitoring of low tire pressure, high tire pressure and high temperature alerts on towable units through a smart device via a free downloadable app on a smart phone. The company is based about 40 miles south of Kansas City in Harrisonville, Missouri; they’ve been around since 1991. You can find them on the Internet.
We are happy to announce that we have opened two new dealers! We look forward to a long standing relationship with them. If either is in your area please stop by to meet them.

Outdoor camping has taken a BIG jump in popularity. Sales for all recreational vehicle manufactures is at an all-time high. There are new RV parks and campgrounds popping up everywhere. It is an exciting time to be part of this industry and it is a plus to be able to offer the most unique product in the entire industry to our customers.
Don’t forget to check in on the TrailBlazer Club and the TrailManor Owner’s Forum (both are linked on our website). They share a lot of great experiences. Also – like us on our TrailManor Facebook page.
Until next time…
