Greetings from the factory (and the farm)! It is getting close to garden vegetable harvest. There aren’t many foods better than fresh garden vegetables. We are hopeful that the drought doesn’t claim the bounty. Yes, we are in a drought; yet, the James River flowing through here is flooded out of its banks. It is impossible to figure out the weather pattern. Perhaps you agree that July disappeared into space somewhere and here we are in the month of August. Motorcyclists are undoubtably making their way to Sturgis for the 82nd annual motorcycle rally. There are no National holidays in August, but the Sturgis Rally comes close to one here in SD. Our states population doubles in size during the rally! And already, students are preparing for another school year.

There is a lot of discussion in the RV manufacturing business regarding the future. The year 2021 was a record breaker for RV sales and this year has seen a big decrease in overall sales. At TrailManor we don’t see those same trends. Our sales did show an increase during what is referred to as the pandemic but because we fill such a unique niche in the RV market, we stay steady and strong in the marketplace. We hold our breath hoping the supply issue has ended. We’ll know more when we order more air conditioners in the very near future.

TrailBlazer Club members made arrangements with us for a factory tour on July 14th. The women here at the colony prepared a delicious lunch for all of us. It was a good day. Some of the day was captured in the photos on this page.

Enjoy your August – whatever your plans. Stay safe and remember to check the tires on your trailer!

Regards,

Paul
